In our last blog, we highlighted a few of our favorite recipes that we think would be ideal candidates for your upcoming Super Bowl party. Whether you’re having a huge get together with dozens of people or a small gathering with a few friends and family members, watching the Super Bowl is a blast for many people.
From the commercials to the half time show, to yes, the game itself, there is plenty to love about Super Bowl Sunday. And that’s all without mentioning the food!
But how should you get prepared for the party ahead of you? The team at Mighty Flame Propane Cylinder Exchange has a few ideas and we’d like to share them with you in today’s post. If you want to get the most out of your big get together, keep reading for our tips!
What To Do Before the Super Bowl
Make a List
One of the best things you can do for yourself when you’re planning out your event is to sit down with a pen and paper. Simply writing down what you need to do can go a long way towards making sure that you are ready for everything. Write down everything from who will be coming to what dietary needs different people have. If you’re going to be asking others to bring food or drinks, it can be a good idea to make not of who is bringing what.
Swing By the Grocery Store
Whether you’re following our suggestions of what to make for the game or you have something else in mind, it’s always better to do your grocery shopping sooner than later. Getting things at this point in the week means you won’t be making a mad dash on Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning in order to make sure that you have everything in order. (This also where that list comes in handy, you know!) Be sure to grab all of the ingredients you need as well as any drinks or party favors you think might make your event that much more exciting.
Buy a Propane Tank
Of course the highlight of your party will be the food. We might be biased on that one, we’ll admit, but as great as the game is and as funny as the commercials are, the thing people are going to be talking about in the days and weeks (and, who knows, maybe even months) to come will be the food at your party. Whether it’s our recipe for grilled wings or your own recipe for marinated chicken breasts, now is a great time to break out the grill and make some food for your Super Bowl party.
Side note: looking for some motivation to break out your grill even when it’s cold outside? We have you covered. Check out our post on 12 Tips for Winter Grilling to get ready while also ensuring that you do things safely.
May the Best Team Win!
Regardless of whether you’re rooting for the Patriots or the Eagles, this game is sure to be an exciting one. And hey, even if it’s not, there’s always the commercials. Or the Justin Timberlake halftime show. Or a new episode of This Is Us once the game is over, if all else fails.
And, of course, if you were wondering where to get a propane tank refilled, just swing by one of our propane tank exchange locations and we’ll swap out your empty tank for one that’s fresh and clean and ready to go. It doesn’t get much better than that!
From our team to your team, we hope that your…team…is the one that wins, but either way, you know you’ll be enjoying some great food!
