What do you think? Can human beings create something like the perfect meal according to science? Well, according to an article on Gizmodo, NASA has designed the scientifically perfect space meal, but that’s a far cry from something most of us would want to eat here on good old planet Earth. Luckily for you, the team at Mighty Flame has you covered.
Did we do a boatload of scientific research, conducting polls and spending time in the lab to come up with the ideal menu? Of course not! But are we relying solely on our own taste buds and our food preferences? We surely are. Is that enough? Your call, friend. Either way, keep reading to find out a few of the things we think you need to create the perfect meal.
Here’s What You Need
Okay, now that we’ve gotten it out of the way that this is in no way based on scientific research, we’d like to go over a few of the things we think need to be present to create the perfect meal. This isn’t based on what’s healthy, what provides you with the optimum combination of fat to protein, or anything like that. It’s based purely on flavor! Here’s what we think you’ll need:
Meat
Every good meal has to have meat in it and we can assure you that truer words have never been spoken (or in this case written, as it were). Whether it’s bacon, ground beef, bratwurst, chicken, pork, it can certainly occupy a place on our plates. Meat tastes good. It’s as simple as that! Plus factor in meat’s versatility and you’re setting yourself up for something unique every single night of the week and it doesn’t get any better than that.
Veggies
We know what some of you out there are thinking. In fact, you’re probably wrinkling up your nose at the thought of vegetables, but as we mature, our palates do some maturing as well. What once struck us as uneatable is now a delicacy. Take brussels sprouts for example. We used to hate them, but wrap them in a meat (like the aforementioned bacon) and you’re off to the races! Asparagus, green beans, even a good salad–they all go a long way towards rounding out a meal and we wouldn’t want to do without them.
Something Unexpected
Okay, we’re not saying you need to slather chocolate frosting on a cheeseburger. That’s a little too unexpected. But playing with flavor profiles is fun and it encourages you to think outside the box just a little bit. Take a peanut butter burger for example. Peanut butter and meat aren’t two things you’d normally want to mix, but in the right proportions (with the right combination of ingredients), it’s downright mouthwatering. Experiment a bit with unique flavors and take your meal from boring to extraordinary with a single ingredient.
A Propane Tank and a Grill
We might be a bit biased on this one, but we think that when you buy a propane tank, you unlock an entire world of culinary possibilities. There’s something special about firing up a grill and searing a piece of meat that other cooking techniques just can’t quite compare to. From crosshatch sear marks on a good steak to flavor imparted from a smoke box, a propane tank and a gas grill can go a long way towards helping you to create some of the best darned food on the planet.
